Account & Data Deletion
Apple App Store requires this page since 2024. Google Play recommends it.
TapFate has no user accounts.
Therefore there is no account to delete.
What data exists?
All data is stored locally on your device:
- Active theme selection
- Sound / haptic preferences
- Completed rounds count
- IAP purchase flags
How to delete your data
Method 1 · Uninstall
Uninstalling TapFate immediately and completely deletes all locally-stored data. There is no server-side data to delete.
Method 2 · In-App Reset
Settings → Privacy → Reset All Data → Confirm
This wipes all preferences while keeping the app installed.
Method 3 · Reset Advertising ID
To reset the advertising identifier used by AdMob:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Reset Advertising Identifier
- Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset advertising ID
Method 4 · Delete Firebase / AdMob server-side data
Anonymous data may have been sent to Google services. To request deletion:
- Firebase Analytics: support.google.com/firebase/answer/9213295
- AdMob (advertising data): reset your advertising ID (above) effectively de-links
In-App Purchases
Purchase records are managed by Apple / Google, not by us. To request deletion of purchase records, contact:
- Apple: Report a Problem
- Google: play.google.com/store/account
